“A process people seek when they want to change something … explore thoughts and feelings. Counselling can give you time and space to work through problems, issues, or worries with an impartial, experienced professional”

What to expect from me
I offer:
a free, short chat - fill in this form to request one
a consultation or first appointment (£55)
counselling sessions based on a working agreement (usually £55*)
We can talk about how things work when you are ready to contact me.
There is no obligation or expectation to commit to a particular number of sessions. It can be useful to plan for a block of six, just in terms of your time and finances. I usually work face-to-face and can offer online counselling as well. I usually suggest we work together weekly or fortnightly and we can talk about what works for you. Sessions are usually 50-minutes but might be a little longer or shorter.
Please ask any questions, as it is very important you feel comfortable and informed when you start counselling.

What to expect from counselling
Counselling is a confidential relationship where you, the client, can explore what is happening for you and what you need. Counsellors do not give advice or diagnose. They usually help you make sense of what is happening / has happened, in a safe, supportive, responsive and creative relationship.
Counselling can be challenging but it should make you feel more, rather than less, human.
You might choose your counsellor based on where they live, what they charge, whether they seem nice - or whether they have availability! It is important you feel safe with the person : counselling can be demanding, and involve talking about difficult things. Trust your instincts.
